little ball of light


what i want is to be a little ball of light

from another dimension

which would really just be the same dimension

but viewed from a different angle

an angle that our collective mind cannot comprehend

without the help of a special feature length documentary film

explaining all the nuances of complicated things like

spatial physical theory, quantum physics, gravity,

and the time and place to view little balls of light

in green english fields

with or without companions that understand you

with or without binoculars

with or without special lenses

made exactly for seeing little balls of light

that expand and contract

in an indecipherable pattern

that is with or without purpose

and intelligent design


what i want is to be from another dimension

which is really just the same dimension

viewed from a different angle

quietly

and without interruption

by everyone i know

who are all different people

with unique faces

that are really just the same face

viewed from a different angle

an angle that my three-dimensional brain cannot comprehend

without the help of performance enhancing drugs


what i want is to be a little ball of light

that moves freely

and independently

but decisively, with apparent purpose

and intelligent design


what i want is to be a little ball of light

calm and happy,

and visible from great distances
